About Linda
Designations

Linda Fosdick has completed the educational and experience requirements to earn the following Real Estate designations, Associate Broker, ABR, CRS, GRI, RSPS.  A very small percentage of Realtors® ever attain these higher qualifications.  I am committed to learning all that I can to be a trained, more qualified agent to better serve your real estate needs.

The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is earned as a result of a higher degree of training focused specifically on how to best represent the buyer.  It also requires a certain number of completed transactions and experienced earned through exclusively representing buyers. This designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed a challenging curriculum of highly advanced real estate courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate.  They must also achieve a successfully high standard of real estate transactions. Only a very small percentage of Realtors ever achieve this designation.  CRS Designees belong to a network of similarly dedicated Realtors who adhere to the strict Realtor Code of Ethics, actively pursue the latest technology and information and are dedicated to being a strong advocate for their clients best interests.  http://www.crs.com/

Surprisingly, many agents meet only the minimum requirements for state licensure. Graduates of the REALTOR® Institute understand that it takes more to provide their clients with the high level of professional service that they deserve. A Realtor® who has earned the GRI designation has successfully accomplished a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum of required courses. Only a small percentage of Realtors achieve the GRI designation.  When searching for an agent to work for you, look for their GRI designation as indication of an agent who has the training, skills and knowledge to best serve you.  http://www.realtor.org/griclear.nsf?OpenDatabase

In 2007, as in previous years, statistics show that one third or more of all real estate transactions are for second homes, either investment or vacation homes.  These buyers and their purchase criteria will in many ways differ in their needs from first home buyers.  These transactions require an understanding of the associated complexities and ramifications.  When planning your vacation home or investment property purchase, look for the RSPS designee.   http://www.realtor.org/resortsweb.nsf/pages/RSPSCertificationFAQ?OpenDocument
